Perishable food — please read first
Nectaré ghee and aachars are perishable food products. For reasons of safety and hygiene, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for change of mind once an order has been delivered. This is standard practice for food and is in line with consumer protection norms for perishable goods.
However, your satisfaction matters to us. If something is wrong with your order, we will make it right — as described below.
When we offer a replacement or refund
We offer a free replacement or a full refund if:
- The product arrived damaged, broken, or leaking.
- You received the wrong product or an incorrect quantity.
- The product was past its “best before” date on arrival.
- The seal was broken or tampered with on delivery.
How to raise a claim
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at care@nectaredelicacies.com (or via WhatsApp / the Contact page) with:
- Your order code (e.g. NEC-XXXXXX).
- A clear photo or short video of the issue and the outer packaging.
- A brief description of the problem.
Please keep the product and packaging until your claim is resolved, as our courier may need to inspect or collect it.
Refund method & timeline
Once a claim is approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method. For prepaid (Razorpay) orders, refunds typically reflect within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or UPI provider. For Cash on Delivery orders, we refund via UPI or bank transfer to details you provide.
Order cancellation
You may cancel an order before it has been dispatched for a full refund — email or message us as soon as possible with your order code. Once an order has been handed to the courier, it can no longer be cancelled, but the policy above still applies if anything is wrong on arrival.
